Crossing DC
(Square 696)

Project Specs

Location: Washington, DC
Architectural Partner: Handel Architects
General Contractor: Clark Construction

Scope of Work

Ornamental metalwork throughout including metal cladding surrounding lobby elevators and fireplaces

Overview

Crossing's DC's sharp, angular "cuts" give each resident of this 800-unit Navy Yard gem an unobstructed view of the surrounding neighborhood. Split into four uniquely-shaped towers, each with its own courtyard, Crossing DC feels like a collection of smaller buildings, masking the otherwise imposing size of its full-block footprint.

Our work at Crossing DC was the winner of the 2021 Washington Building Congress Craftsmanship Award in the Metals and Ornamental Metals category.
