Phipps Plaza Mall

Synergi's stainless picket rail and monumental stairs featured throughout main atrium of Phipps Plaza Mall
Project Specs

Location: Atlanta, GA
Architectural Partner: The Beck Group
General Contractor: Whiting-Turner

Scope of Work

Removal of existing brass rail system, installation of decorative floral-etched stainless steel posts and top rail, electrostatic painting onsite of existing steel, stainless steel picket railing on stairs

Overview

The 2016 renovation of Phipps Plaza Mall breathed new life into the building, which was originally built in 1971. Having not undergone a renovation since 1992, architects with The Beck Group sought to modernize features throughout the Mall, including new flooring, handrails, and interior paint among other cosmetic lifts, without compromising the Mall’s timeless luxury charm.

Synergi performed a complete retrofit of the existing railing system off-hours to allow the Mall to continue normal operations and to maintain the safety of all patrons. Our decorative floral-etched stainless steel posts and top rail provide a subtle, unique flourish throughout the facility.
