Synergi Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

Synergi is pleased to welcome Michael Christopher, CPA to the position of Chief Financial Officer, who joined the team on June 29th, 2021. Michael is responsible for financial management and will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable long-term business growth and profitability, supporting the company to elevate it to the next level. He will be based out of Synergi’s headquarters in the greater Washington, DC area.

A respected veteran of the AEC industry, Michael brings over 15 years of experience in financial management to Synergi. Most recently, Michael served as CFO of WCS Construction, one of the largest multi-family builders in the Mid-Atlantic region, after spending nearly a decade serving construction clients throughout the DC Metro area. Michael’s extensive knowledge of the ever-shifting nature of construction finance will help provide oversight of all fiscal planning, functioning, and performance.

Per Michael: “I’m excited for the opportunity to be a part of the team at Synergi. I have such a high level of respect for what our teams are able to accomplish from pre-construction through final delivery. The design and quality are world class.”

Michael holds degrees in Accounting and Construction Management from East Carolina University. He also serves as the Treasurer for ACE Annapolis, a non-profit providing scholarships to students pursuing degrees in architecture, construction, and engineering. Michael is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Construction Financial Management Association.
