A nationwide multi-disciplinary design and fabrication team, our collective expertise has been channeled into producing distinctive feature elements for prominent construction projects throughout the United States and beyond.

Our Roots in Fabrication

From its inception, fabrication has been at the core of what we do. Established by Founder Myles Admiraal in Winnipeg, Canada, Synergi began as a fabrication shop for brass railings in the restaurant trade.

Over the years, Synergi has expanded its reach and services, growing into a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals encompassing designers, engineers, detailers, fabricators, and installers. Our collective expertise has been channeled into producing distinctive feature elements for prominent construction projects throughout the United States and beyond.

Our Approach

We begin every fabrication project with a rigorous collaborative design process during which each detail is developed and reviewed for design intent, structural performance, budget, and constructability.

As both creative minds and craftsmen, we recognize the pivotal role of collaboration in the success of any project. We bring our unique set of both technical and artisanal skills to ensure that coordination between our work and adjacent trades is meticulously considered and that design intent is faithfully reflected in the smallest details. We are driven by new challenges, and we embrace new technology. Our specialty lies in structural stairs and fine metals, often integrating millwork, glass, stone, and precast concrete into our projects.

Synergi figured out a different way to fabricate and install that provided huge savings in both budget and install time but still met our design intent very closely. Finding ways to cut cost with fabrication and install methodology is a major expertise of Synergi.

AISC Certifications

Synergi has achieved company level certification for structural steel fabrication and construction, a distinction awarded by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). The AISC’s certification programs are the most widely recognized standard for the structural steel industry.

Performing all disciplines of welding, our welders are certified by the American Welding Society (AWS) and include both Certified Welder Educator (CWE) credentials and Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials on staff. The AWS Certified Welding Inspector credential is one of the welding industry's most recognized certifications.

Our Fabrication Facilities

Synergi's primary fabrication facility is more than 50,000 square feet in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., metro area. Equipped with an overhead crane/hoist system, welders, millers, 3D printers, and templating systems, we utilize our shop to produce and assemble all facets of structural and finish components for our stairs in Ferris and non-Ferris materials.

Our dedicated quality control team sets the industry standard in ensuring conformance to AISC, and our double-story ceiling enables everything from full-size stair mockups to full-scale trial fittings to ensure the delivered product is precision fit to the most exacting standards, allowing us to execute a project efficiently and seamlessly.
