Scope of Work

9 STORY ATRIUM PREFABRICATED INTERCONNECTING STAIR, HANDRAIL, GUARDRAIL, GLASS RAILING SYSTEM

Overview

Nearly 2,800 people currently work at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) headquarters on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, which was originally built to house 1,800 people. The LEED Platinum project involved the addition of a substantial new office expansion adjacent to the existing building - addressing the IFC's urgent space needs and desire for flexibility in the future. With the addition of a 9 story interconnecting prefabricated staircase in the main atrium, the new floors align with existing floors, providing for seamless horizontal integration.
